Hasal Institute for Microfinance Studies

HASAL Institute for Microfinance Studies (HIMS Academy Ltd.) is an affiliation of a parent company, HASAL Microfinance Bank Limited which was incorporated in 2003 as RIL-GWARI Community Bank Limited but commenced business as a fully licensed microfinance bank on October 2, 2008. The Institute (HIMS Academy Ltd) commenced business in June 2010 but became fully incorporated as an independent limited liability company in November 2010.
           
HIMS Academy has a three-man Board of Directors made up of seasoned professionals in banking, consulting, corporate finance, capital market and commerce. The Board is chaired by Mrs. Ndi Okereke-Onyiuke while Mrs. Lilian Gilda Bassey leads the team as the Chief Executive Officer/Learning Advisor. The HASAL Group is an assemblage of young energetic and intelligent professionals operating on a strategic platform to provide services in Microfinance & Entrepreneurship, Business Management consultancy, and Microfinance Research.
