The Chartered Institute of Corporate Management Accountants and Managers of West Africa

The Chartered Institute of Corporate Management Accountants and Managers of West Africa (ICMAMWA) is established by five countries of West Africa. These countries are: Nigeria, Liberia, Cameroun, Togo and Ghana. These (pioneering) countries duly registered and obtained license of operation from the government of Ghana where the headquarters of the Institute is situated. The establishment of this premier regional management accounting professional body is as result of paucity of unified body in Accounting, Financial Management, including Business Administration in West Africa, thereby creating discrimination among professional bodies in the sub-region. The Chartered Institute of Corporate Management Accountants and Managers of West Africa is well established to eliminate these discriminations.
