The Tanzania Institute of Bankers

The Tanzania Institute of Bankers (TIOB) is a body established since 1993 offering world-class training to its members, adhering to professional excellence founded on ethics, integrity and quality in all its undertakings. The main objective for which the Institute is established is to certify professionally qualified bankers in Tanzania and to provide capacity building to member banks and financial institutions so as to ensure they stay informed, resilient and adoptive to ever changing market and business environment conditions. TIOB is also a member of Association of African Institute of Bankers (AAIOB) which constitute 16-member Country institutions across Africa which share common purpose and have created alliance to maximize on their synergies.
