Certified Institute of Auctioneers Nigeria

The Certified Institute of Auctioneers Nigeria is the Professional body responsible for training and certification of Auctioneers in Nigeria. The Chartered bill of the Institute was passed by the House of Representatives and Senate of the 8th National Assembly. The Institute maintain international affiliation with Auctioneers association in the United States of America, United Kingdom, South Africa among others.

The Institute organises regular training sessions on monthly basis across the country. Membership of the Institute is categorized as follows:

• Fellowship..FCAI
• Full Member...MCAI
• Associate...ACAI

There are five different business faculties/ area of specialisation in the Institute These are:

1. Real Estate Auction Faculty
2. Automobile Auction Faculty
3. Art & Artifacts Auction Faculty
4. Benefits/ Charity Auction Faculty
5. Industrial & Equipment Auction

Members are encouraged to belong to at least 2 faculties
