2. Your Personal Development: Encourages continuous learning and improvement through training and reflection.
3. Duty of Care: Teaches how to act in the best interest of individuals while managing risks and complaints.
4. Equality and Diversity: Focuses on treating individuals fairly, respecting differences, and preventing discrimination.
5. Work in a Person-Centred Way:  Emphasizes the importance of tailoring care to individual needs, preferences, and rights.
6. Communication: Develops skills in verbal, non-verbal, and written communication to interact effectively with individuals and colleagues.
7. Privacy and Dignity: Ensures care workers respect individuals' privacy, personal space, and dignity.
8. Fluids and Nutrition:  Covers the importance of proper hydration and nutrition in maintaining health and well-being.
9. Awareness of Mental Health, Dementia, and Learning Disabilities: Introduces key concepts related to supporting individuals with these conditions.
10. Safeguarding Adults: Teaches how to recognize and report abuse, neglect, or exploitation of vulnerable adults.
11. Safeguarding Children:  Covers the importance of protecting children from harm and reporting concerns.
12. Basic Life Support: Provides training in CPR and emergency first aid techniques.
