Monitoring and Evaluation are crucial in supporting programme and project implementation, contributing to organizational learning, upholding accountability, providing opportunities for stakeholder feedback to be captured and promoting evidence-based decision making. We have therefore organized this course with the aim of equipping participants with knowledge and skills for designing and implementing effective monitoring and evaluation systems that promote accountability and learning within their humanitarian and development programmes/projects.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
The training will enable participants to;
- Develop an understanding of the basic principles underlying PMEAL
- Design and implement PMEAL strategies, systems, and frameworks
- Develop and support the use of PMEAL tools and practices in program development
- Supporting the development of PMEAL work pieces such as program baselines, mid-term reviews and end lines
- Equip participants with an understanding of the major tools and best practices involved in PMEAL
- Provide participants effective rules of thumb and a framework to approach methodological issues in PMEAL
- Collect data, ensure data quality management and analyses the data
- Understand project reporting by using PMEAL
