Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

Black belts have a thorough understanding of all aspects of the define, measure, analyze, improve and control (DMAIC) model in accordance with Six Sigma principles. They have basic knowledge of lean enterprise concepts, can identify non-value-added elements and activities and are able to use specific tools.

The course has been created for people who already hold the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course and want to upgrade to the Black Belt certification.

Program Objectives

• To help in understanding team leadership, understand team dynamics and assign team member roles and responsibilities.

Modules

This course will cover the following major topics:

• Relate LSS concepts to business objectives.
• Identify waste within the value stream.
• Demonstrate ability to effectively analyze and present data.
• Define and apply team leadership tools.
• Collect and process customer input/requirement.
• Identify key metrics for measuring success.
• Define the DMAIC process.
• Effectively use tools and concepts associated with each phase of the DMAIC process.
• Employ Lean Six Sigma skills in process improvement projects.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the training, participants will be awarded Cynet East Africa Consultancy certificate.
