OBJECTIVE:
This training course on Transition to ISO 45001:2016 aims to help participants to develop the following critical objectives:

- The potential impact on organizations with OHSAS 18001 certification
- Recognize the differences between a program and a management system
- Demonstrate leadership in the development and implementation of a health and safety/environmental management system
- Know the elements of a health and safety management system and an EMS and how to apply them
- Identify the differences in elements of OHSAS 18001:2007 and the new ISO 45001 standard
- Develop the necessary procedures, policies and other related documents required for OHSMS or EMS
- Implementation in line with the new standard

TRAINING METHODOLOGY
The training methodology combines lectures, discussions, group exercises and illustrations. Participants will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge of the topics. The emphasis is on the practical application of the topics and as a result participant will go back to the workplace with both the ability and the confidence to apply the techniques learned to their duties.
