Organizations  and government use of new media cannot be overemphasized in this era of technology Social media is an organizational asset if strategically managed, but it can also be a liability resulting in reputational damage and legal liability if poorly handled. It should be viewed as both, a communication channel and a technical tool.

Its uses vary and each use has different implication for an organization. This 5 day course is intended to expose participants to the various social media channels available,  how to register to this channel, use and post, the type most appropriate for different situations, understanding of the strategy to use to get intended results and measurement of outcomes through use of technical tools .
